The Late Amin was a jolly man full of life

"They are not dead who live in the hearts of those they leave behind"

The Mission Commiserates with the late El Amin Omer who has been working at Uganda Embassy, Khartoum as Commercial Assistant. Amin succumbed to blood clot on the 17th July 2021.

His Excellency, Ambassador James William Kinobe described the late whose duties among others included Economic and Commercial Research, Protocol and liaison, as a person with high ethical standards towards work, a man who demonstrated service above self and played a pivotal role in the Embassy during a two years period of his employment.

This was during an event held at the Chancery where Ambassador Kinobe, formally met with the two widows; Mrs. Shaza Elrayah Mohamed and Mrs. Shaza Abd Elhalim Abd Elrahman and Mr. Osman Omer the brother of the late Amin to commiserate with the deceased's family.

The Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Dickson Ogwang noted that, as the ancient Native American Proverb says, 40Days since the departure to glory of our staff El Amin Omer, we should be reminded that he is not dead for he lives in our hearts.

During the event that was rather emotional to all the staff, Ambassador Kinobe handed to the family Condolence Collections from Embassy Staff.

Despite the somber mood, the widows appreciated the Embassy for handling them with love, fairness and justice. They mentioned that every kindness demonstrated means a lot to them and the six orphans left behind.

Rest in Peace Mr. El Amin Omer! May Allah Forgive your sins and grant you Jannah.
